Uncovering How Memories Are Formed While We Sleep
Decoding Memory Consolidation and Sleep Regulation in the Brain
Our research focuses on three main areas: investigation of memory consolidation, sleep regulation, and cognitive processes. We use multiple techniques to address our research: Electrical microstimulation, optogenetics, chemogenetics, and in vivo electrophysiology.

Our lab
We aim to understand the mechanisms of memory formation during sleep.
A multidisciplinary and diverse team is a requirement for our laboratory, reflected in the composition of its researchers from various backgrounds
We develop outreach projects to raise public awareness of the importance of sleep in memory formation and brain health
